I was just looking through my gallery, and I realized that the artworks that I thought were ingenious while I was making them are the ones that I'm less than thrilled with, months later. On the other hand, the pieces that I threw together without too much thought, are the ones that I look at now, and think, "Hey, that's pretty neat."

Not only have I just found the erasers that I spent a sizable part of yesterday searching for, but sitting right next to them was my tablet pen, which has been missing for months, and an extra pair of scissors (which is fabulous, because I'm always losing scissors). (Wow, that sentence was long.) (Parentheses!)
All of a sudden, the world seems like a much nicer place.
Hmm, maybe I should leave the gremlins a treat, in thanks. Do gremlins like milk and cookies, or is that just Santa? I know that typical garden-variety fairies prefer milk with honey, but I don't even know if gremlins are related to them.
Uh-oh, what if it's brownies, not gremlins? Any show of gratitude would be a terrible idea, if that were the case. Now that I think about it, any food left around will attract ants for sure, so never mind that. Besides, I think my folktale-nerdiness is showing.

Faster than the mind of a forensic scientist. More powerful than bad cologne. Able to leap tall accusations in a single bound. Look! Up there in the smog! Is it a bird? Is it a velociraptor? No, it's just your imagination! Really, there's nothing out there. Nothing. Get back to work.

I have just learned, that pill bottles, when left in direct sunlight, will burst open, and scare the living bejeezus out of anyone sitting nearby.

I have been having so much fun with photography, for the past few months, that I figure it's about time I actually post some photos. The problem? I now have thousands of photos. There are a couple hundred that I really like. I want to post no more than ten. Argh. *headdesk*
